About Little Lambs
Little Lambs is a warm, faith-based Parent & Caregiver play group created especially to welcome families with babies, toddlers, and preschool-aged children in Garden Grove and the surrounding Orange County community. Rooted in Christian love and community, Little Lambs is a gentle space where little children can explore and grow—and where grown-ups can connect, exhale, and feel supported during the early years of parenting. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or caregiver, you are welcome here. Expectant moms and moms-to-be are warmly invited to join us too!
A Special Place for New Moms, Postpartum Support & Encouragement
The transition into motherhood and the early years of parenting can be beautiful, meaningful, and deeply challenging all at the same time. If you are a mom struggling with emotional overwhelm or postpartum depression–feeling overwhelmed, isolated, down, exhausted or broken, please know that you are not alone and are very much welcome here! Little Lambs is a warm, Christ-centered community for moms in Garden Grove and Orange County seeking encouragement, friendship, prayer, and connection during the early years of parenting.
Little Lambs is a place of grace, meaningful connection and friendship, prayer, and understanding. Centered in Christ, we strive to provide a place where moms can connect with other moms and caregivers, share life's joys and burdens, and receive encouragement.
While your little one enjoys free play, you are invited to slow down, build relationships, share your parenting struggles and joys, and find support among others who understand the challenges of this season of life. If you arrive feeling discouraged or exhausted, our prayer is that you leave feeling seen and a little more connected, encouraged, hopeful, and reminded that you are not alone.
We know these early years can be both deeply joyful and incredibly tiring. Little Lambs was designed with this season of life in mind—a place where children can play at their own pace, and where caregivers can slow down, share stories, ask questions, and find encouragement alongside others walking a similar road in a faith-centered, supportive environment. This includes opportunities for group prayer and sharing prayer requests.

Suggested Donation
Little Lambs is offered free of charge because we never want cost to be a barrier for families! Donations are always appreciated and help support snacks, craft materials, and other supplies for the group. If your family is able to give, thank you for helping this ministry continue and reach more families.
A suggested donation of $5 per family, per class helps offset ministry costs, but participation is never dependent on giving. If not, please know you are warmly welcome just as you are—we would love to have you join us!

Each week at Little Lambs includes plenty of free play with age-appropriate toys, music and movement, snack time, simple hands-on activities, and occasional seasonal crafts. Near the end of our time, we gather briefly for a friendly circle time with our lamb puppet, Lucy Lamb, followed by a short prayer that gently shares God's love in a way young hearts can receive.
Families are welcome to share prayer requests, either for group prayer or privately. Prayer requests may be submitted discreetly by writing them down and placing them in our prayer box, which is reviewed prior to each week's prayer.
Little Lambs is designed with families in mind. Our drop-in class runs from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and families are welcome to arrive whenever it works best for them. There is no requirement to arrive "on time," no expectation of weekly attendance, and no pressure to commit long-term. Come when it works for your family, and stay as long as you're able.
Caregivers are encouraged to connect, learn from one another, share parenting joys and challenges, and find encouragement in a grace-filled environment. Many families find that Little Lambs becomes a valuable source of friendship, parenting support, prayer, and community during the baby, toddler, and preschool years.
Our hope is to reflect God's love in ways that feel natural, nurturing, supportive, and age-appropriate for parents, caregivers, babies, toddlers, and preschoolers.

We would love to welcome you and your little ones to Little Lambs at King of Kings Evangelical Lutheran Church in Garden Grove. Drop in on the days and times that work best for your family—whether you arrive right at 10:00 a.m. or partway through class.
Pre-registration is appreciated but not required. Families are always welcome to simply drop in and join us any of the weeks we are in session.
